Jason Dufner Asks Tiger Woods to Reschedule Tournament So He Can Watch Auburn, Doesn’t Get His Way

Jason Dufner doesn’t usually ask for days off — probably because he’s a professional golfer and living the dream — but he’s asking for one now.

The Auburn alum and diehard Auburn fan has found himself in a bit of a conundrum as his Tigers somewhat miraculously find themselves playing in the SEC Championship game against Missouri on the same day that Dufner is slated to play in the World Challenge, a holiday tournament hosted by Tiger Woods.

Dufner put his Auburn education to use, though, and went straight to the top dog in an attempt to persuade Woods to move some things around so that he could cheer on his Tigers.

It was a valiant effort, but Woods, who clearly must be a Bama fan, wasn’t having any of it.
