Justin Tucker Admits He Owns Himself in Fantasy Football, Gives Shout-Out After Scoring All of Ravens’ Points

All that’s left to ask now is what round Justin Tucker drafts his fantasy kicker in.

Baltimore edged Detroit 18-16 on Monday night, but the hero of the game for the Ravens was not their once-high-powered offense or solid defense. It was Tucker, the kicker, who scored every single one of Baltimore’s points with his boot.

Tucker connected on six field goals throughout the night, giving the Ravens just enough to squeak past the Lions. He had makes of 29, 24, 32, 49 and 53 yards, but none were as impressive as the final kick he nailed — a 61-yarder with 38 seconds left.

The kick was the longest of Tucker’s career and sneaked just through the bottom-right corner of the uprights.

It was a pretty solid night for the already-reliable kicker, but Tucker took it to the next level after the game. In his postgame interview, Tucker not only basked in his accomplishments but also did what few of his NFL peers have ever done, reaching out to fantasy football owners and even admitting that he’s one of those guys who tracks individual players’ performances — like his own — while hoping his team will win.

“We kick six field goals and win the game,” he said. “I’m happy to do it — don’t get me wrong — and my fantasy team is benefiting from it as well. So I’m happy about that. Fantasy owners around the world, I hope you appreciate the points as well.”
