Kobe Bryant and Lionel Messi are still in direct competition.
The two superstar athletes star in a new Turkish Airlines commercial in which they engage in a “Selfie Shootout.” They fly Turkish Airlines to famous landmarks and other cool places to visit, taking selfies with the iconic venues serving as the backdrops. Each sends photos to his rival in a classic game of “can you top this?”
They climb mountains and explore both oceans and safaris on their world tour until the game bombs at the end.
This is the most recent installment in Turkish Airlines’ campaign, which feature Bryant and Messi. Last year, they competed for the adulation of a young sports fan while flying first-class on Turkish Airlines. This year, they got off the plane and went head to head.
