Cleveland fans really need to work on brainstorming better options for keeping their stars in Ohio.

Back in March when the Miami Heat came to town, a Cavaliers fan rushed onto the court and implored LeBron James to return to Cleveland through the persuasive powers of a T-shirt. On Saturday, another young fan followed in his not-so-smart footsteps, walking onto the court while wearing a shirt that read, “Kyrie Don’t Leave.”

The youngster went largely unnoticed as he wandered onto the hardwood and tapped Kyrie Irving on the shoulder during the second quarter of the Cavs game against the Clippers. The fan attempted to show the Cleveland point guard his T-shirt right after Irving had passed the ball to Andrew Bynum. He stayed with him near the top of the key and was still looking like a lost puppy as the Clippers were bringing the ball up the court after Bynum’s missed shot.

The game was finally halted after Chris Paul nearly ran into him, prompting arena security to remove him from the court immediately.

There just has to be a better way to get things done, Cleveland.

Check out the strange scene below.
