This goal makes Patrick Kane‘s antics look positively pedestrian.
Linus Klasen of Sweden had his shot in a shootout against the Czech Republic during the Channel One Cup, and he absolutely froze goalie Alexander Salek with a spin-o-rama for the ages. Klasen spun left but poked the puck between his legs midway through the spin, giving Salek just enough time to turn and watch the puck go in the net.
“I thought about a poke check. Then he sent it between his legs, I stood frozen and thought, ‘What’s this? I don’t like it,'” Salak said after the game, via iSport (with a stick tap to Yahoo! Sports’ Puck Daddy blog).
