Football is meant to be played in the snow, so Sunday was fun around the NFL, especially in Philadelphia.

The Eagles and Lions took the field in the worst possible conditions on Sunday, as snow came down in bunches and made life miserable for everyone in shoulder pads and a helmet. Matthew Stafford and Nick Foles, two Texas-born quarterbacks, must have been especially frustrated. Foles threw his first interception of the season in the snow bowl and Stafford could barely hang onto the ball, fumbling four times in the first half alone.

The weather impacted decisions around the goal line, too. After a Joique Bell touchdown run, the Lions decided against attempting an extra point, instead choosing to run an offensive set and go for two points. Fortunately, Stafford hung onto the ball long enough to hit Bell for the two-point conversion and put Detroit up 8-0.
