The Ravens had relied on Justin Tucker’s leg for all of their points on Monday night, so it was no surprise that they turned to their placekicker again with 38 seconds left for one more field goal.
With the Ravens trailing the Lions 16-15, Tucker trotted out for a 61-yard attempt, and he nailed it, giving him six field goals for the night and all of the Ravens’ points.
The kick was a squeaker, though, just barely going through the bottom-right corner of the uprights. It was such a squeaker that, in the long flight of the ball toward the end zone, several Lions players looked like they thought it would miss, and they’d get a chance to win.
Well, it did not miss, and instead, the Lions’ expressions turned to shock as the Ravens went up 18-16.
