Mamadou Ndiaye Creates Hilarious Picture as 7-Foot-6 Player Matches Up Against 5-Foot-8 Oregon Guard (Photo)

Oregon might have had the last laugh by beating UC-Irvine 91-63, but people are probably going to remember something else from Tuesday night’s game.

The Ducks had no trouble handling UC-Irvine and its claim to fame, 7-foot-6 Mamadou Ndiaye, the tallest player in college basketball this year. At least, the team didn’t have trouble handling Ndiaye. When 5-foot-8 guard Johnathan Loyd got matched up with Ndiaye at one point, however, that was a different story.

Ndiaye finished the night with seven points, five rebounds and four blocks in 26 minutes played, and Loyd had four points in his 12 minutes on the court, but the crowning moment was when the two somehow ended up facing each other for a play, creating a photo for the ages.
