FOXBORO, Mass. — Marquice Cole is back off the New England Patriots’ roster.

The veteran cornerback was released Thursday for the fourth time this season. He was released and re-signed three times earlier in the season because he was dealing with a hamstring injury.

New England has not announced a corresponding move. Cole was not on Wednesday or Thursday’s injury reports.

Cole has 15 tackles this season in 13 games. He has mostly played special teams and slot cornerback.
