Patriots Will Hold No. 1 Seed in AFC, Home-Field Advantage Throughout Playoffs If They Win Out After Broncos Loss

Bill Belichick, Tom BradySuddenly, the last three games on the Patriots’ schedule are looking much more important.

If New England can win out, they will hold the No. 1 seed in the AFC and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Patriots hold the tiebreaker over the Broncos since they beat them in Week 12. If both New England and the Chiefs win out, the Patriots have the tiebreaker due to record in conference.

New England travels to Miami on Sunday, then they close the season in Baltimore and against the Bills at Gillette Stadium. The Dolphins and Ravens are still competing for a playoff spot.
