Everyone knows not to plan a wedding on the weekend during football season, otherwise how do you expect the NFL athletes you invite to show up?
A couple known only by the names Anna and James went out on a limb and sent and invitation to Peyton Manning for their fall 2013 wedding, knowing the Broncos signal caller wouldn’t be able to attend. What they probably didn’t expect, though, was to get an RSVP from Manning along with an autograph.
A Reddit user posted a photo of the reply card, on which Manning checked that he “regretfully declines” the invitation. He sent his “best wishes” and signed his John Hancock along with his No. 18.
