Will Ferrell is doing everything possible to promote his new Anchorman 2 movie, and on Thursday, he proved that Ron Burgundy is not only capable of reading the news, but he can also call some of sports’ most historic moments.

After his scheduled appearance to host Thursday’s 6 p.m. SportsCenter was canceled by ESPN because of the situation surrounding Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston, the sharp-dressed anchorman took his talents to the Dan Patrick Show.

Among his many activities during the show, Burgundy did his best to re-enact some of the most famous sports calls in recent memory, including Jack Buck‘s call of Kirk Gibson‘s legendary home run in Game 1 of the 1988 World Series.

Check it out in the video below, and don’t act like you’re not impressed.
