Jacoby EllsburyIt certainly didn’t take long for the hot stove to get fired up.

The Major League Baseball offseason is underway, and plenty of money and players are already flying around. Most notably from a Red Sox point of view, of course, is the the reported departure of Jacoby Ellsbury. The center fielder reportedly signed a huge deal with the rival Yankees, which is just the tip of the iceberg in what’s been a busy offseason already.

The winter meetings are just around the corner as well, and while it’s only been about a month since the Red Sox won the World Series, there’s plenty of work to do as Sox general manager Ben Cherington and his staff get going on preparing for a title defense.

The NESN baseball crew is getting back into gear as well. The winter premiere of Red Sox Now will air Wednesday night as NESN’s Tom Caron will be joined by WEEI.com’s Rob Bradford to break down the offseason’s biggest moves as well as look forward to the rest of the hot stove season.

They’re also going to be taking your questions. You can leave questions below in the comments section or on Twitter with the hashtag #LiveBP. Tune in to NESN at 6 p.m. on Wednesday night to see if your question is answered.
