Texans Defensive End Antonio Smith Says It Was ‘Very Suspicious’ Patriots Knew First-Half Defensive Calls

Antonio Smith is accusing the Patriots of … something.

The Texans defensive end said it was “very suspicious” that New England knew Houston’s first-half defensive calls that had been prepared specially this week.

It’s interesting that Smith is accusing the Patriots of cheating — apparently — in the first half, since New England put up just seven points before halftime. It’s also unclear how teams would spy on the Texans in their own facility. Is there a rat in Houston?
