Torey Krug Says Injuries ‘Seem to Be Normal Now,’ Is Proud of How Teammates Have Stepped Up (Video)

The Bruins lost Dougie Hamilton in the first period to a lower-body injury, and while the defenseman’s absence will certainly hurt the B’s, this is a team that is used to playing without some of their key guys.

Loui Eriksson, Chris Kelly and Johnny Boychuk are only some of the Bruins that are currently sidelined with various injuries, so when Hamilton went down against Toronto, Torey Krug wasn’t all that surprised. After the game, he said with a big smile that “it seems to be normal now.”

Krug followed up that statement by adding that they’ve battled through so many games where they’ve been down a guy or two that it just shows the confidence the coaching staff has in the depth of their lineup as they freely throw guys like Kevan Miller and Matt Bartowski on the ice in key moments.

Check out the above video to hear what else Krug had to say after the game.
