The city of Ottawa, like just about every major city in Canada, is home to many young boys who grew up to be NHL players.

Players like Mike GartnerRod Brind’Amour and Denis Potvin were all born in Ottawa, and they all went on to have fantastic NHL careers, each surpassing 1,000 career points. Gartner and Potvin have both been inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, and there are plenty who think Brind’Amour will be there before too long.

There are also a handful of Ottawa-born players in the NHL right now. Players like Dan Boyle and Derek Roy have carved out nice careers and lead the charge of players born in the Canadian capital. One of those players happens to play for the Bruins.

Who is the one active Bruins player (not counting Marc Savard) who was born in Ottawa?
