It was a full team morning skate Tuesday morning at Ristuccia Arena as Zdeno Chara, Loui Eriksson, Carl Soderberg and Dougie Hamilton all took the ice before the Boston Bruins’ matchup against the New York Islanders.

Only one of those players is ready to return to the lineup, though. Chara told reporters afterward that he plans to play Tuesday night at TD Garden.

The defenseman sat out Saturday’s 4-3 loss to the Ottawa Senators with an undisclosed injury, but he practiced with the team Monday and Tuesday.

Hamilton is still on the mend, slowly making his way back from a lower-body injury he suffered Dec. 8. Bruins head coach Claude Julien said the 20-year-old will return “hopefully soon.” The B’s could use some numbers on defense after losing Dennis Seidenberg to a season-ending knee injury.

Soderberg is still day to day as he recovers from post-concussion symptoms after a collision with Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson on Friday. No return timetable was given for Eriksson, who has been out since taking an elbow to the head from Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Brooks Orpik during a Dec. 7 game — a hit that resulted in the winger’s second concussion of the season.

“Seeing him on the ice is a good sign and skating, so we’ll continue to evaluate him,” Julien said of Eriksson.
