There are very few players the Bruins likely wouldn’t be able to withstand losing for a long time, and Zdeno Chara is one of those players. While it’s too early to say how long he’ll be out, he will not play Saturday night because of some sort of injury.

Chara wasn’t on the ice for pregame warmups Saturday night in Ottawa, and the team announced that the captain would not play against the Senators. It’s unclear what injury Chara actually has, but the team also said that Chara is day-to-day with the mystery injury.

That news came just hours after the Bruins announced that Dennis Seidenberg will miss the rest of the season after tearing his ACL and MCL in the B’s 5-0 win over the Senators on Friday night.

Here are the projected lines for Saturday’s game against Ottawa.
