Scott Pioli and Thomas Dimitroff have joined forces with the Atlanta Falcons, and the two Bill Belichick proteges are still talking about their mentor.
Pioli was hired as assistant general manager of the Falcons on Wednesday. He rode with Dimitroff on his first day on the job, and their conversation was recorded by the Falcons.
Pioli told stories about working the Senior Bowl with Belichick in 1993, when they were coaching the game with the Cleveland Browns. The two former New England Patriots staffers appear excited to run a team together. Pioli even brought Dimitroff an apple on his first day.
