PupsThe Puppy Bowl just got even more amazing, if that’s possible.

Animal Planet is adding an element of competition to the event already overflowing with cuteness. The network announced that Puppy Bowl X will feature its first-ever fantasy draft.

According to Entertainment Weekly, fans will be able to see profiles of all 66 puppies and pick their teams at AnimalPlanet.com/PuppyBowl in the days leading up to the big game. Then on Feb. 2 — Super Bowl Sunday — puppy fantasy owners can track how their “players” perform through statistics that the network will compile.

It is difficult to guess how statistics will be measured given that the game typically consists of puppies being puppies, who accidentally score a touchdown every once in a while, but we’ll leave that to the professionals to worry about.

In the meantime, start thinking about if you’ll take Aurora, the 12-week-old Dalmatian who has read all of the Harry Potter books, or Loren, the 14-week-old Brittany Spaniel Mix who prefers NCAA 14 to Madden 25 in the first round of the least stressful fantasy draft of all time.
