It’s been nearly three weeks since the Cleveland Browns played their final game of the season, but wide receiver Davone Bess continues to take hits.

Bess, who made headlines Thursday when he tweeted out a photo of what appeared to be marijuana, was arrested early Friday morning on charges of assaulting an officer/firefighter at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport.

The wideout was acting “irrationally, dancing, singing with his pants repeatedly falling down” and appeared to “be under the influence of an unknown narcotic,” according to an arrest report from the Broward Sheriff’s Office. Bess was also charged with disorderly conduct and resisting an officer without violence.

“The team is aware of the situation and currently working to gather more information,” the Browns said in a statement, via Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer.

Bess played five seasons with the Miami Dolphins before coming to Cleveland in a trade last offseason. He caught 42 passes for 362 yards and two touchdown this season but missed the final two games after being placed on the non-football injury list.
