The Boston Bruins hadn’t played since Monday, but the four-day break proved to be incredibly beneficial to the club.
The B’s came out swinging and they maintained control throughout the entire game, adding two goals in each period. Zdeno Chara and Jarome Iginla each recorded a pair of goals while Patrice Bergeron and Reilly Smith each threw in one en route to the lopsided 6-1 win.
After the game, head coach Claude Julien applauded his team for staying composed and playing hard for 60 minutes.
