It’s not Thursday, but that won’t stop Don Orsillo from dropping gems from yesteryear on Twitter.
The Red Sox play-by-play man tweeted a photo Tuesday of a much younger Orsillo posing next to a young Cam Neely at ice level at the old Boston Garden. Neely looks to be in full Bruins game attire, while Orsillo stands in khakis and a half-zip sweatshirt.
Orsillo didn’t give any context for the photo other than to say that it was 1988, when he was a student at Northeastern University. He also made mention of missing his “flowing moss,” which we assume means his long hair.
Orsillo is putting together quite the scrapbook with his throwback pictures.
