Islanders Capitalize On Bruins’ Mistake In Own Zone (Video)

The Boston Bruins were in total control during the first period Monday night, but the New York Islanders capitalized on a rare mistake to tie things up.

For the majority of the first 20 minutes, the Bruins did a fantastic job managing the puck, but they did make one mistake in their own zone that cost them. A turnover along the boards led to Frans Nielsen lighting the lamp late in the first period.
