Baseball season is just around the corner, so Major League Baseball players have to get their fun in while they still have a chance. That might explain while Detroit Tigers ace Justin Verlander was living it up at the Gasparilla pirate festival this weekend in Tampa, Fla.
Verlander and his rumored girlfriend, Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover girl Kate Upton, were spotted at the annual Pirate fest Saturday afternoon. Each had a couple strings of beads around their neck, and Verlander sported a fake (or maybe real) eye patch.
