Emotions were high for Kevin Garnett during his return to TD Garden on Sunday, but that didn’t prevent him from jawing a bit with his former teammate.
During a break in the action, Garnett, back in Boston for the first time as a member of the Brooklyn Nets, was seen giving a little playful smack talk to Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo, who tried hard to hide a smile.
Garnett wasn’t much of a factor in the game, finishing with six points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals, but the Nets were able to pull away late for an 85-79 win.
