Kobe Bryant is still on the sidelines due to a knee injury, but in the meantime, the former NBA MVP is spending his time wisely.

The Los Angeles Lakers were in Boston on Thursday, preparing for a showdown with the Boston Celtics. While his teammates rested up for Friday’s big game, Bryant decided to take in a few classes at Boston College.

Bryant, 35, dropped in on a business class at BC on Thursday night, apparently trying to improve his marketing knowledge. Students on the Chestnut Hill, Mass., campus freaked out, blowing up social media with photos and details of the five-time NBA champion’s visit.

After his trip through Fulton Hall (the BC business school) had concluded, Bryant returned to his hotel late night and tweeted out something of a thank you to the BC community for welcoming him.

Bryant never attended college, opting for the NBA straight out of high school, which, by the looks of his resume, was the right decision. However, when his new two-year extension runs out, maybe he should consider taking up residency at The Heights to earn his degree.
