LeGarrette Blount is the name on everyone’s lips after the New England Patriots running back’s record-breaking night in Saturday’s divisional playoff win against the Indianapolis Colts. Now, Blount’s performance has landed him on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

This week’s edition of SI features a photo of a determined Blount along with the headline: “Blount Force Drama,” ahead of the Patriots’ AFC Championship Game matchup against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.

Blount set a Patriots team record with four rushing touchdowns in last Saturday’s game, with the fourth coming in the fourth quarter on a 73-yard run — the second-longest touchdown run in New England playoff history.

For those worried about the SI “cover jinx,” it should be noted that three versions of this week’s magazine cover were released. One of them features a photo of former Patriots receiver Wes Welker, who’s now a Bronco.
