Boston mayor Marty Walsh made his way to Frozen Fenway on Friday.

Walsh dropped the puck at the annual hockey game between the Boston Police Department and Boston Fire Department. This year’s tilt was played at Fenway Park, where a rink has been set up for various events, and the battle of first responders ended with an 11-6 victory for the Boston Police.

A red carpet was rolled out for Walsh, who was elected the 54th mayor of Boston back in November. The Dorchester native donned a customized “B Strong” jersey that also featured a Red Sox World Series champions patch.
