Paul Ranger Applies Eye Black Liberally, Makes Face Look Like Tiger at Winter Classic (Photos)

When it comes to marking up faces for big games, football and baseball players get to have all the fun. But on Wednesday, as the Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings faced off in this year’s Winter Classic, the Leafs’ Paul Ranger decided that if he gets one chance in life to wear eye black, he’s going to make the most of it.

Ranger took advantage of his day in the sun — well, sun and snow — to put eye black just about everywhere he could fit it. He marked himself up like a tiger, and folks quickly took notice.
