PercyHarvinWelcome back, Percy Harvin.

The Seattle Seahawks wide receiver, who played in only one game this season because of a hip injury, was back on the field for Saturday’s divisional playoff game against the New Orleans Saints, who did their best to put him back on the sideline.

Saints safety Rafael Bush nearly decapitated Harvin in the first quarter, as the wide receiver was unable to haul in a Russell Wilson pass. Bush hit Harvin so hard and high that his mouthpiece went flying, as seen in the photo above. The hit drew a flag and a 15-yard penalty, which led to a field goal and early 3-0 Seahawks lead.

Update: Harvin headed to the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion after the ferocious hit, but he returned to the field on Seattle’s next possession. Harvin’s presence on the field was short-lived, however, as he took yet another hard hit late in the first half. He was evaluated for a concussion once again, and the Seahawks announced after halftime that Harvin would not return to the game.
