The talk before the Denver Broncos’ divisional playoff matchup against the San Diego Chargers was all about Peyton Manning.

Manning’s playoff stats have remained a dark cloud over the future Hall of Fame quarterback’s career, and coupled with the news that the future of Manning’s career hinges on the results of an offseason exam on his neck, drama surrounding the game was palpable. Manning led the Broncos to a 24-17 win Sunday, propelling Denver to the AFC Championship Game, where they’ll take on the New England Patriots.

After the win, reporters were quick to ask Manning how his surgically repaired neck was feeling, and what was weighing on his mind in terms of his future in the NFL.

“What’s weighing on my mind is how soon I can get a Bud Light in my mouth after this win,” he said.

It’s a little surprising Manning didn’t name-drop Colorado’s own Coors Light, and Bud Light took the free publicity and ran with it, posting on the company’s Facebook page, “Proud to be Peyton’s refreshment coordinator. #18WantsBudLight.”

Check out Manning’s comments in the video below.
