Pro Bowl Streaker: Deion Sanders Kept Me Out Of Jail (Video)

A woman who streaked onto the field during Sunday’s Pro Bowl will not face charges, and she says she has Deion Sanders to thank for it.

Katrina Torres, wearing a bikini and cape, hopped out of the stands and onto the field after a fourth-quarter touchdown catch by Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Cameron.

Torres expected her race to end in handcuffs, but she didn’t care. She told Honolulu’s KHON2 that the streak was a fulfillment of a promise to her cousin, Gary, who was paralyzed in a motorcycle accident two years ago.

“I just wanted to keep my promise, stay true to my word,” Torres said. “And I had told my mom, I told my auntie, my grandma. I was like, ‘I’m gonna do this. You guys might have to bail me out.’ And they were so for it.”

That wouldn’t be necessary, though. Torres said that Sanders, who coached Cameron’s squad in the game, intervened and convinced security not to arrest her.

“Deion Sanders came running behind us, and he’s like, ‘Hey, don’t arrest her. That was really cool. Just don’t arrest her. If you arrest her, I’m gonna bail her right out,'” she said.

Torres didn’t get off scot-free, however. She’s been banned from Aloha Stadium for the next year.
