Cristiano Ronaldo was recently named the 2013 Ballon d’Or winner as player of the year, and he’s already off to an incredible start in pursuit of this year’s award.
In Saturday’s La Liga (Spanish first division) match between Real Madrid and Real Betis, the Portuguese forward scored a stunning long-range goal that was pretty much impossible to save because of its pace and accuracy.
The Real Madrid star leads La Liga with 21 goals in 20 games.
