Red Wings Fan Attempts to Videobomb Local News Broadcast at NHL Winter Classic, Fails Terribly (Video)

A record crowd of more than 100,000 people attended the 2014 NHL Winter Classic between the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs on New Year’s Day.

It was a day to remember for all in attendance in Ann Arbor, Mich., except for maybe one fan who embarrassed himself when attempting to videobomb a live pregame segment on a local FOX affiliate.

The fan, who was wearing an old-school Gordie Howe sweater, moved his way into the background to be on TV, but before he could wave or do something funny, he slipped on the icy ground and fell.
