Andre MillerAndre Miller doesn’t miss games.

Miller, a 15-year NBA veteran, hasn’t missed more than two games in any season of his career. He’s already halfway to that mark this season, though, after he was a healthy scratch in the Denver Nuggets’ loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. While the Nuggets were on their way to their eighth straight loss, Miller let coach Brian Shaw know exactly how he felt about that, right there on the bench.

“There’s a time and place for everything,” Shaw told Christopher Dempsey of The Denver Post. “In the middle of the arena in front of everyone … I just tried to calm it down.”

Miller apparently had to be restrained and left without speaking to reporters after the game. The DNP-Coach’s Decision snapped a streak of 239 games for the 37-year-old guard.
