Although the polarizing uniforms teams sported during this year’s Christmas Day matchups prompted harsh criticism from fans, the league plans to release even more sleeved jerseys for the 2014-2015 season.

According to Chris Haynes of Comcast SportsNet Northwest, the heritage jerseys of NBA teams will be the next to get a makeover. Detroit’s “Motor City” alternate jersey and Portland’s “Rip City” alternate jersey are reportedly next in line to adopt the short-sleeve look.

While Haynes reported that some teams are reluctant to adopt the new look, he added that most were open to the idea, and the league is pushing for the change to happen.
