It was only a matter of time before Ronaldinho made a song, and that time has finally come.

Ronaldinho has teamed up with a friend, Brazilian rapper Edcity, to make a new song, which tells listeners to “Vai na Fe” or “Go in Faith.” A music video, which includes scenes of youngsters playing soccer and the the musical pair performing, has also been made to accompany the newly released tune.

The song comes out in time for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, which takes place this summer in Brazil. Our limited language skills prevent us from knowing exactly what Ronaldinho and Edcity are saying, but the song’s pretty catchy. Ronaldinho is a long-shot to earn a spot on Brazil’s national team, but it looks like he’ll have a presence at the tournament regardless of his national-team status.

Ronalidnho has often said that soccer and music are his twin passions. While, the world has seen Ronaldinho play an instrument or provide percussion on a song in the past, this is one of the first instances where fans can actually hear him sing.
