The Flying Tomato went splat Thursday during a slopestyle qualifying run at California’s Mammoth Mountain.
Shaun White, the face of U.S. snowboarding, wiped out during a run and stayed down for about five minutes. He was clearly shaken up from landing face-first after catching an edge on his landing.
The goofy-footer was OK after the crash, though — he regrouped and got the highest score of the day to make the Sochi-bound squad.
