Boston Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask‘s struggles appear to be a thing of the past, if the first 20 minutes of Saturday night’s game are any indication.
Coming into the matchup in San Jose, Rask had been pulled three times in his last 10 starts. The goalie who was so dependable in the beginning of the season began to struggle mightily of late, but through one period of hockey against a tough Sharks team, Rask looks to have busted out of his slump in a big way.
The goalie made 12 saves in the first period to keep the game scoreless.
