USA Rugby Mascot Lays Out Cocky Spain Fan During USA Sevens Match (Video)

Nobody likes a showboat, especially not USA Rugby mascot “Rookie the Eagle.”

During halftime of the USA-Spain match at the USA Sevens tournament in Las Vegas over the weekend, Rookie got a little too worked up by a Spanish fan’s antics.

The fan was racing USA Sevens mascot “Mr. Rugbee” (who is basically dressed in a giant bee costume) as part of a halftime promotion. The fan  jumped out to a pretty good lead and got a little cocky, running backward and taunting Mr. Rugbee as he approached the finish line. Rookie had enough of the showmanship, though, and speared the arrogant fan to the grass like he was in a WWE title fight.
