Patriots Broncos FootballThe New England Patriots’ season came to an end Sunday, falling to the Denver Broncos 26-16 in the AFC Championship Game.

Between injuries, an inconsistent group of receivers and some more injuries, the Patriots surpassed expectations, but ultimately fell short of their dreams of punching their ticket to the Super Bowl.

With all that New England went through this season, do you consider its season a success?

From Aaron Hernandez‘s offseason arrest to losing Rob Gronkowski, Jerod Mayo, Vince Wilfork and Sebastian Vollmer to season-ending injuries to needing fourth-period heroics to defeat the lowly Texans and Browns, it hasn’t been an easy year for the Patriots.

Given the obstacles the Patriots faced, it’s somewhat miraculous that the team was able to make it this deep into the postseason at all, but Tom Brady and Bill Belichick  are certainly deserving of the credit for getting the most out of this group that they could.

The Patriots might have failed to make it to the Super Bowl this year, but do you still consider their season a successful one? Voice your opinion in the poll below.
