Wes Welker, Bernard PollardThe San Francisco 49ers got Ric Flair as their motivational speaker before their divisional playoff matchup against the Green Bay Packers, and the Denver Broncos got Wes Welker.

The former Patriots wide receiver was the team’s motivational guest speaker on the eve of the Broncos’ AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots at the request of Broncos coach John Fox, according to Adam Schefter. While Welker may not know this season’s Patriots playbook like former Patriots and current Broncos cornerback Marquice Cole, Welker could share some valuable insight heading into the AFC title game.

Welker spent six seasons as quarterback Tom Brady‘s top target in New England before signing with the Broncos last offseason. He was also Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning‘s favorite target, but missed the final month of the 2013 regular season with a concussion.
