1393113958_50There’s just something about the Daytona 500 that brings out the smooching side of 50 Cent.

The last time the rapper was at Daytona National Speedway, he was making headlines for awkwardly trying to kiss FOX Sports reporter Erin Andrews before the race got underway. Now, one year after the kissing fiasco, 50, whose SMS Audio company is a primary sponsor of Swan Racing and drivers Parker Kligerman and Cole Whitt, is back in Daytona Beach.

50 opened up about the incident to Bob Pockrass of Sporting News, revealing that it was just as cringe-worthy for him as it was for viewers watching at home.

“I wanted to kiss her, man,” 50 said when asked what he was thinking going in for the kiss. “You really want to know? I think she handled it amazingly, too. It was just an awkward moment.”

Andrews isn’t expected to be working the race Sunday, but don’t feel too bad for 50 because he’s already set his sights on a new target.

“I was looking forward to kissing somebody,” 50 added before turning toward Whitt. “I’m going to kiss Cole. If you win.”

But even if his driver gives him the cold shoulder that Andrews gave him, 50 still isn’t out of luck. As a team sponsor, 50 is fulfilling his business obligations by heading to Daytona, but there are apparently some dating perks that also come out of the experience.

“I told (friends) that the women here are extremely hot,” the rapper said. “I don’t know if you know this, but outside of going to church, you can find good women in NASCAR.”
