Alex Cobb probably thought he had the best proposal in the major leagues, but Blue Jays reliever Casey Janssen is giving Cobb’s bid a run for its money.
Janssen managed to surprise his girlfriend Lauren Spear while she hurtled toward the ground in the midst of a skydiving excursion. After setting up a massive “will you marry me” sign in their landing zone, all Janssen had to do was jump from the plane first and then wait for Spear’s answer as she floated to the ground.
Luckily for Janssen, all the air-time Spear had to think about the proposal didn’t change her decision. See Janssen’s elaborate proposal plan in the picture below.
