Bruins’ Focus On Breakout Offense Pays Off With Brad Marchand Goal (Video)

The Bruins took a 4-0 decision at home against former teammate Andrew Ference and the Edmonton Oilers, thanks in part to some heads-up defensive play.

The B’s were able to move the puck well in the first period, breaking out of the defensive zone with some clean passing. Even though the Oilers had numbers back on defense, Brad Marchand and the Bruins used speed through the neutral zone to keep the Oilers on their heels, and the persistence paid off.
