Buccaneers, Falcons, Panthers Troll Each Other In NFC South Weather War (Photos)

The NFC South has harbored some of the NFL’s best teams over the past few seasons, and apparently the level of competition has brought about some fierce rivalries that extend beyond the field.

The Carolina Panthers (who won the division this season), the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Atlanta Falcons (who were division champions in 2012) all got into a bit of a Twitter war on Tuesday about, of all things, the weather.

The Panthers kicked things off by tweeting out a photo of a snow-covered Bank of America, including the popular Game of Thrones reference “Winter is coming” for some humorous effect. The Buccaneers quickly took the tweet as a chance to troll their division rivals, shooting back a photo of the sunny, clear-blue sky above their home at One Buc Place in Tampa.

While the Bucs and Panthers entangled themselves in the mini weather war, the Falcons seemed to feel a bit left out and tossed some snark of their own into conversation, even using a Matt Ryan-based pun. The New Orleans Saints, meanwhile, continued to abstain from the battle, even after some prompting from the Panthers.

Check out the rest of the NFC South weather war below.

Hopefully the four teams are as entertaining on the field next season as they are on the interwebs.
