David Ortiz is 38 years old and still Boston strong.
Ortiz, who is coming off a fantastic 2013 campaign, made it clear on Twitter on Monday that he expects to have another “monster season” in 2014. The nine-time All-Star tweeted a message to the media haters who question whether he can continue to produce at a high level.
Shortly after his initial tweet regarding 2014, Ortiz sent out another message via Twitter. The second tweet was directed toward the Bostonians who continue to support him as he prepares for his 18th major league season.
