Broncos Player Gets Touching Text From Son That Puts Loss In Perspective (Photo)

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch said winning Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday night was the best day of his life, next to the day he was born. But for all that joy and excitement for the winning team, there is an equal amount of sadness and disappointment for the losing team.

Denver Broncos defensive end Shaun Phillips felt the weight of disappointing his young son, Jaylen, after the loss, so he sent Jaylen a text message. Jaylen’s sweet response showed the unique ability kids have to put things in perspective, and Phillips shared the text message exchange on Twitter after the game.
