Northeastern and Harvard kicked off the 62nd annual Beanpot tournament Monday night, and the Huskies wasted no time showing off how dominant they can be.
Northeastern took a commanding 4-0 lead into the third period, as they spent a full 40 minutes overwhelming a young, struggling Harvard squad. It was a choppy two periods, however, as whistles were flying and penalties seemed to be handed out almost every other shift.
During the second intermission, NESN’s Jamie Erdahl caught up with Harvard coach Ted Donato, and he discussed how all of the whistles were impacting his team’s momentum, as well as what the Crimson need to do to crawl back into the game.
